The Sessions consists of a unique blend of diverse musical and cultural backrounds. With members hailing from Argentina, Guatemala, Bolivia and El Salvador the groovin’ fusion is inevitable. Their original style contains elements of ska, reggae, rock and varous latin rhythms with lyrics both in english and spanish. The Sessions has been pounding the pavement for the last year in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area at the popular latin rock venues and events, always attracting a crowd and gaining new followers due to their energetic live performances and extremely dancable tunes. Jose Ekonomo’s versatile guitar skills back with a synhesizer and his raggamuffin toasting combined with Ricardo Varrenti’s infectious basslines with a fantastic rhythm section that incorporates bottomheavy drums and latin/carribean percussion is what makes up the Sessions “sound”.
