Brothers Rodrigo and Javier Godinez spent four years touring with an established regional/national band. After parting ways with the project, the Guatemalan brothers decided to put together a new band that was more in touch with their Latin American Roots. STONE GATO was born.

Rodrigo and Javier found Tom Dolan and Eduardo Santana to complete the STONE GATO lineup. On stage, the band uses positive messages and infectious energy to win over listeners.

STONE GATO blends rhytms from Latin America and Africa with elements of rock, funk, jazz and reggae to create a unique musical style. Whether singing in English or Spanish, STONE GATO's lyrics always have a passionate message. Musicianship, energy and charisma make STONE GATO a band you will want to see perform time and again.

Off stage, STONE GATO works to help the disadvantaged in South and Central America through volunteering and fundraising. The band is a proud supporter of the national non-profit organization, Friends of the Orphans.
