Papas Underground is a Rock band from the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Their influences are based on the old school Garage Classic Rock and the British Invasion sound with all lyrics in spanish.

Papas Underground was funded in 2002 and rapidly became one of the mos representative Latin Rock bands in the area by playing every bar or club possible with great acceptance from the public. In 2004 the Papas Underground shares the stage with renown latino Rock artists like Pedro Suarez-Vertiz, Octavia (Coda 3) and Ely Guerra as well as having participated and in the 1st and 2nd DC Latin Rock Festivals.
