Nayas is composed of six members of different nationalities, coming from Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay, Puerto Rico and the US.

Performing in the DC metropolitan area in venues such as Bossa, Dr. Dremo;s, The Last Mango, Birchmere, Nations, Dream, State Theater among others, Nayas has shared the stage with prestigious bands and also have taken part of the first DC Latin Rock Festival.

Though some changes have taken place, Nayas has managed to enter the studios to record their second CD; this album will include twelve original songs. Their lyrics describe everyday life experiences and are performed in English, Spanish and French.
